I appreciate the low-profile quiet keys, the impressive RGB lighting, and the ideal form factor.
The low profile makes it easy to use for hours without wrist problems.
I like the quick actuation of the switches and the keyboard is relatively quiet for using mechanical switches. These keys are fairly sensitive so you need to get use to them if you’re used to tactile or clicky switches with full stroke length.
The floating key design makes it easy to clean: no debris traps on the bottom that require taking out all the keys to effectively each.
The volume scroll wheel is responsive, has a nice feel, and you can click it to mute/unmute.
This keyboard can connect via the Razer USB dongle, bluetooth, and USB. You can also charge it via USB power-only connections while using the wireless modes. This means you can permanently keeping it tethered to power while connecting it to two devices. Use the switches on the top of the keyboard to swap between the devices.
I’ve had a ton of different keyboards from all the big brands including the Huntsman V2(linear) and Blackwidow V4(clicky green) from Razer itself. I wanted something that had a nice bump/feedback without a lot of travel and this is perfect, everything I’ve been looking for. I love linear for gaming but hated it for typing. I was noticeably slower in gaming with Green/Blue/Brown etc switches but loved typing on them. This is my Goldilocks keyboard and the new daily driver. Low Profile Clicky Purple switches are by far my favorite!
Aesthetic-wise, it’s a very gorgeous low-profile keyboard. The RGB and brightness can be customized using Synapse.
It’s a low-profile keyboard so it took a little bit of time for me to get used to it. Durable build quality and feels premium.
Feels no different in terms of response time comparing to my Corsair K60 Pro TKL but comes with an added Snap Tap feature, however, I would say that 9/10 times you wouldn’t even use it.
I like the keyboard and how quiet the switches are. Overall decent keyboard.
